This is awesome! I am psyched about this project - they are really organized and have put out a sweet distro. I will put up screenshots here soon. For the time being, you can check them out on their website: http://www.agnula.org/.

Basically, the project has put together some of the top GPL music production software out there on one install CD. If course, given the nature of the GPL, it is naturally free. You can check out some of the packages here. You can also check out the latest news and, of course, download the Agnula software.

This project is initially funded by the European Commission, and after this period ends, it becomes a volunteer-based project.

More info from their site: "AGNULA's main task is the development of two reference distributions for the GNU/Linux operating system completely based on Free Software (i.e. under a FSF approved Free Software license) and completely devoted to professional and consumer audio applications and multimedia development. One distribution will be Debian-based (DeMuDi) and the other will be Red Hat-based (ReHMuDi).

"Here you will find info on the whats, the whys and the whos of our project."

All of you out there - this is awesome! Download, burn the iso and install it on your machine! It works on x86 and PowerPC!

    Have fun with it!
