Free Language exists to disseminate free information about world languages, public domain lessons for learning foreign languages, news feeds in a variety of foreign languages, podcast links for learning foreign languages and general links for exploring and discovering these languages.
One of the main projects that Free Language is currently taking on is the amassing and creating public domain language learning resources for all world languages. These lessons will be empowered and protected by the GNU Free Documentation License, the same license that Wikipedia uses.

Free Wiki exists to provide new and experienced wiki-interested people with a good resource for existing free software wikis, complete with screenshots, links to pertinent information such as downloads and docs, links for quick customized searches (e.g., to find a wiki written in php using a mysql database and released under a GPL license).
We encourage wiki software developers who are interested in having an account with us to maintain their own wiki software page to contact us. We would be most honored to have you take part in this site.
Also included on this site are feeds from the main Wikimedia projects, including Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikiquotes, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wikibooks and Wikispecies.
We have chosen to add Google AdSense text ads to help with the cost of hosting. We hope they are not too much of a bother for you. Indeed, they might actually help some people find exactly what they need.

Free Music Software Info offers free information about free and non-free or proprietary music software applications for Linux, UNIX, BSD, Apple Mac and Windows.
The main idea of this site is to offer information to the general public regarding these softwares and to show that there are truly viable free software alternatives to the mainstream proprietary options. We seek to inform the public and let the end users themselves decide what best fits their needs.

OSWD, as it is fondly known as, is a great resource for free templates for web design and development. There is a large repository of free contene here that can be easily used to implement a webpage, quickly and efficiently.
From their site: "The Open Source Web Design project was founded in September 2000 by Frank Skettino ( bkenoah ) as a way for the average Joe-Hacker to have a quality, organized web design template ready for him when he's ready to share his ideas on the World Wide Web. We understood that many hackers would like to have a place to share their ideas on the Web, but are too busy to create a decent layout. This results in a poorly organized page or none at all. With OSWD, we hope to solve this problem."
Hack it up!

etree.org is for you if you are into lossless audio. (Of course, if you are, you probably already know about it!
From their site: The etree.org music community was created in the summer of 1998 for the online trading of live CD-R's. We do not trade CD-R's via regular mail. Instead, we trade by downloading losslessly compressed audio files, extracting these files, and then burning them onto a CD-R.
The etree.org community uses an independent network of file (FTP) servers that host and distribute Shorten (SHN) audio files. Shorten is our file format of choice because it uses a lossless compression scheme, and is available for a variety of operating systems. This means the digital audio files distributed via etree.org are identical to the original DAT source, and can be played on any computer. There is absolutely NO sound quality loss, or any loss of information for that matter! Every downloaded copy is an identical clone of the original DAT source." Read on...
Have a good one!

Archive.org is the Internet Archive. It is not only for music, but for many many things - all in the public domain!
From their site: The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit that was founded to build an ‘Internet library,’ with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. Founded in 1996 and located in the Presidio of San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections.
Enjoy!

I have been reading Stuart Wilde for many years now and have learned a lot from his books.
Although his books are not "free", he does put a lot of free info on his site for readers to access, including articles, visions and world events. You can access all of his newest additions on the What's New page.
Be prepared for a shock if you have not read his stuff before! :) If you are really looking for something to get you thinking, check out his Morph Worlds area!
